<procdesc>The FAS FAVA Response Theme grid is the relative vulnerability map for the Floridan Aquifer System. It was calculated using the ArcSDM extension and applying the weights of evidence method. An analysis extent (study area), training point theme, and modeling method (weights of evidence) are selected in the set analysis parameters. Weights are then calculated on each evidential theme and then the themes are generalized (into binary or multi-class patterns). In most cases, a generalization of 1 represents "more vulnerable" areas, 2 represents "less vulnerable areas and -99 represents missing data. If a theme is generalizd into 3 classes, 1 would represent the highest vulnerability and 3 would represent the lowest vulnerability. A response theme is then calculated based on the association between training points and evidential themes. A relative vulnerability class field is also in the table so that the grid can be symbolized into 3 vulnerability classes .</procdesc>

An analysis extent (study area), training point theme, and modeling method (weights of evidence) are selected in the set analysis parameters. Weights are then calculated on each evidential theme and then the themes are generalized (into binary or multi-class patterns). In most cases, a generalization of 1 represents "more vulnerable" areas, 2 represents "less vulnerable areas and -99 represents missing data. If a theme is generalizd into 3 classes, 1 would represent the highest vulnerability and 3 would represent the lowest vulnerability. A response theme is then calculated based on the association between training points and evidential themes. A relative vulnerability class field is also in the table so that the grid can be symbolized into 3 vulnerability classes .</stepDesc>
