Description:
Abstract: These locations were sampled to determine background water quality representative of the region. A comprehensive set of field and chemical measurements were taken and were combined with historical data to estimate background ground water quality.
Purpose: A spatial view of a point feature class representing 1,700 statewide stations (wells and springs) sampled by the Watershed Monitoring Section (WMS) Background Monitoring Network (BMN). The data depict locations that tap three aquifer systems in the State of Florida.
