Service Description:

The digital imagery has been prepared for use in GIS systems and is also suitable for hard copy plots. The images are high resolution (0.5 foot pixel) low altitude color aerial photography. The coastal counties, flight date and source if other than this Bureau included in this project are: Bay 4/30/08, Brevard 4/28/06, Broward 4/25/06, Charlotte 1/08 DOT, Collier 12/30/08 County, Dade 4/25/06, Duval 3/29/07, Escambia 4/29/08, Flagler 3/28/07, Franklin 4/30/08, Gulf 4/30/08, Indian River 4/26/06, Lee 1/08 DOT, Manatee 1/08 DOT, Martin 4/28/06, Nassau 3/29/07, Okaloosa 7/10/07, Palm Beach 4/25/06, Pinellas 1/08 DOT, Sarasota 1/08 DOT, St. Johns 3/29/07, St. Lucie 4/26/06, Volusia 3/28/07 and Walton 7/10/07. Photos acquired by BBCS are approximately 3000 ft. inland and 1500 ft. seaward of the beach. Accuracy for the entire project is 2 ft. Accuracy of individual photos may vary but no photo is over the six foot allowable error. Photos collected from other sources have a similar accuracy standards but since we have no control on the flight path seaward extent maybe limited.
