Description: This statewide dataset has been created by the Bureau of Beaches and Coastal Systems to show the locations of coastal environmental permits that cover a large area. It includes permits in all coastal counties and inlets in Florida that are regulated by this Bureau. Environmental permits are issued for any construction or activity seaward of the Coastal Construction Control Line (CCCL). Large area permits are typically, but not limited to, beach nourishment projects or inlet dredging.

This report is used to document areas of change and to help the beach management staff with prioritizing projects and resources to the areas of greatest need.
Description: Using information from the Florida Ports Council and the Beaches, Inlets, and Ports Program point features have been created to identify Deepwater Ports as identified in 2014 Florida Statues, Chapter 403.021(9)(b). Description: Points have been established in an effort to identify Coastal Inlets around the state of Florida. This layer was created to help identify geographically the inlets that are being managed through out the state and which of those inlets have an adopted and approved Inlet Management Plan by the Department of Environmental Protection. Inlets that are unmanaged and also do not have an Inlet Management Plan are contained and displayed within the layer as well for a visual and geographical representation.

Description: Represents the position of the Florida Department of Environmental Protection, Bureau of Beaches and Coastal Systems Range Monuments along the coast.The accuracy is 0.01 meters. This layer is the consolidation of three different feature classes in three different zones: NAD_1983_HARN_StatePlane_Florida_East_FIPS_0901_Feet, NAD_1983_HARN_StatePlane_Florida_West_FIPS_0902_Feet, NAD_1983_HARN_StatePlane_Florida_North_FIPS_0903_Feet. They are projected into FDEP_Albers_HARN.There are two types of Monuments. Some were phisically established and marked in the ground and some were just created at a virtual location. The Range field in the Table Of Attributes describe the type for each monument.
